{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Community grants available from the Wake County Community Foundation","url":"\/news\/community-grants-available-from-the-wake-county-community-foundation-2022","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The board of advisors of the <a href=\"\/communities\/northern-piedmont\/wake-county\">Wake County Community Foundation<\/a> will begin accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Wake County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund and Friends of BOMA Charitable Endowment.<\/p>\r\n<p>Only organizations with budgets under $500,000 are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to organizations applying for general operating support. Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000.<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available beginning Friday, July 1. Visit <a href=\"\/\">nccommunityfoundation.org<\/a> for information about applying. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, Aug. 2 at noon.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. You can open an endowment for your favorite cause at any time &ndash; or contribute to an existing fund in any amount.
