Tyler highlighted the awards and distributions to three nonprofits that participated as charitable partners in the Duck and Wine Festival. Children At Play, Currituck Kids and Kids First are each receiving a grant distribution of $1,400. The Duck and Wine Festival, now completing four years, provided nearly $15,000 for charitable purposes, including additional gifts to the Community Fund. Tyler thanked the community for support of the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Currituck-Dare Community Fund.”
