Does your non-profit need grant support?

The Board of Directors of the Granville County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for community projects funded from its community fund, according to Jim Davis, Grants Committee Chair.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Granville County.  Applications are online and available at (under “Affiliates/Granville County”).   The deadline for submitting applications is May 15.

Davis said, “For fifteen years we’ve had a proud tradition of supporting non-profits across the county. Especially in an economic downturn, it’s important that we continue to offer these opportunities so that all non-profits, regardless of size and mission, can be considered for funding.”

The Granville County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community  Foundation.  The community fund was established to help support local charitable needs through annual grants.  In addition to Davis, Granville County Community Foundation board members are: Xavier Wortham, Sam Royster, Jim Cross, Dale Hensley, Janet Slaughter,  Everett Byrd, Stan Fox, Paige Little, Martha Sneed, Tom Houlihan, Allan Jordan, Kathy May, Harry Mills, Jennifer Adcock, Dave Williams, and George Ritchie.
