The more that is raised, the more we can collectively support the work of nonprofits serving North Carolinians.<\/p>\r\n<p>Called the Chairman&rsquo;s Challenge, this matching gift campaign originated from the NCCF statewide board of directors as a challenge and opportunity for our local affiliate foundations to devote every November to the pivotal task of building and growing permanent philanthropic assets to support local grantmaking in communities across the state.<\/p>\r\n<p>The&nbsp;campaign&nbsp;is an important part of building philanthropy across North Carolina. We&rsquo;re honored to continue building permanent funds through our affiliate-led community grants program to make North Carolina stronger.<\/li>\r\n<li>We invite you to support a local community close to your heart at&nbsp;<a href=\"\/donate\">nccommunityfoundation.org\/donate<\/a>. Gifts made from Nov. 1 &ndash; Nov. 30 are eligible for the proportional match.&nbsp;The maximum gift amount eligible&nbsp;for the match is $25,000.&nbsp;<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>","item_title_2":" Why is it important?","item_content_2":"<ul>\r\n<li>Every gift to a local affiliate foundation is magnified thanks to the match.&nbsp;<\/li>\r\n<li>Local dollars stay local.
