The Board of Directors of the Granville County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund, according to Xavier Wortham, Board President.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Granville County. Applications are available at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (under “Affiliates”). The deadline for submitting applications is May 17.
The grant application has moved to an online process for the community grant-making cycle. To demonstrate the online application process and discuss other sources of funding, Jeanne Lawson of the North Carolina Community Foundation will hold a free, one-hour workshop at the Richard H. Thornton Library on Tuesday, March 22 at 4:00, and at South Campus of VGCC on Thursday, March 24 at 4:00. Seating is very limited; call 919-256-6914 to reserve a space.
