Thank you for participating in the Chairman's Challenge!

The Chairman's Challenge, NCCF's fundraising campaign to benefit local affiliate grantmaking, officially closed Sunday, June 30.

Our in-box was full of online giving donations from throughout the state Monday morning! The mail included many checks postmarked over the last few days of June. Add these end-of-campaign gifts to the steady flow of contributions received throughout the month, and you'll soon see why we are so gratified by your response.

It will be a couple of weeks before we finalize totals and figure out each participating affiliate's percentage of the campaign match, made possible through a special gift from an anonymous donor with a passion for local philanthropy.

"We witnessed a great response from donors across North Carolina who participated in this opportunity to stretch their charitable dollars and multiply their impact in the communities they love," said Beth Boney Jenkins, NCCF vice president of development.

Benefits of your gifts will allow:

  • Local dollars to stay local.
  • Make it easy for donors to have an impact on needs.
  • Let leaders who best know your community – our affiliate boards – decide how these grants will be allocated to meet local needs.
  • Capture the collective power of local donors.
  • Provide a perfect way to leave a legacy in your community.
