The Chairman's Challenge, NCCF's fundraising campaign to benefit local affiliate grantmaking, officially closed Sunday, June 30.
Our in-box was full of online giving donations from throughout the state Monday morning! The mail included many checks postmarked over the last few days of June. Add these end-of-campaign gifts to the steady flow of contributions received throughout the month, and you'll soon see why we are so gratified by your response.
It will be a couple of weeks before we finalize totals and figure out each participating affiliate's percentage of the campaign match, made possible through a special gift from an anonymous donor with a passion for local philanthropy.
"We witnessed a great response from donors across North Carolina who participated in this opportunity to stretch their charitable dollars and multiply their impact in the communities they love," said Beth Boney Jenkins, NCCF vice president of development.
Benefits of your gifts will allow:
Eastern Band of Cherokee
Catawba Valley (Alexander, Caldwell and Catawba)
Coastal Plains North
Coastal Plains South
Northern Albemarle (Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans)
If you have questions, please contact the NCCF regional associate for your area or email Beth Boney Jenkins, NCCF vice president for development.
