At a grants awards ceremony at Johnston Community College, Whittington thanked the community for support of the Johnston County Community Foundation.  “These grants affect our entire community and our quality of life,” she said.  “Now, more than ever, we are aware of the hard work these non-profits are doing to serve the needs of our citizens. These grants would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Johnston County’s community fund.”
