Community Foundations Supporting Western North Carolina
Community foundations across North Carolina are collaborating to support western North Carolina after the devastation brought by Hurricane Helene.
Community foundations know the organizations on the ground and can distribute grants equitably and with care.

CFWNC Emergency and Disaster Response Fund
To support immediate and ongoing recovery needs, give to The Community Foundation for Western North Carolina’s Emergency and Disaster Response Fund.
NCCF Disaster Relief Fund
To support long-term recovery and unmet needs, donate to the North Carolina Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund.
CFHC Hurricane Helene Relief
To support relief, recovery and rebuilding efforts in the Henderson County area, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and western NC, give to the Community Foundation of Henderson County.
Polk CCF Emergency Relief and Rebuilding Fund
To support emergency relief and rebuilding in Polk County give to the Polk County Community Foundation’s Emergency Relief and Rebuilding fund.
CFBC Disaster Relief Fund
To support nonprofits in Burke County, donate to the Community Foundation of Burke County’s Disaster Relief Fund. Nonprofits involved in disaster relief activities can apply for up to $10,000 in funding.
FFTC Regional Relief Fund
To support nonprofits in Cleveland and Lincoln counties (NC) and Cherokee County (SC) that are directly responding to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, give to the Foundation for the Carolinas Regional Relief Fund.
