(BFA) for long term recovery of repairing homes, supporting rapid rehousing for victims of Hurricane Florence in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<li>$7,250 to Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc. to provide funds for life alert systems for older adults and those with mobility impairments who were without a source of communication during Hurricane Florence in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<li>$6,000 to Matthew's Ministry to purchase food for children whose families were negatively impacted by Hurricane Florence in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<li>$12,000 to Trinity United Methodist Church to purchase washers and dryers for those impacted by Hurricane Florence in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<li>$12,000 to Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry, Inc. for rebuilding or repairing homes, and for providing appliances for those impacted by Hurricane Florence in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Through its community grants program, the Brunswick County Community Foundation awarded more than $5,000 to the following local nonprofit organizations:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>$740 to the Roosevelt and Ruth Marlow Educational &amp; Recreational Foundation for Youth Ready<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to the Carousel Center for general support in the Brunswick office<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to the Brunswick Community College Foundation for the &ldquo;Learning to Read&rdquo; Leadership Conference for middle school boys in Brunswick County<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to Smart Start of Brunswick County for &ldquo;Hey Baby.
