{"title":"Our grants window has opened","content":"<p>The Board of Directors of the Franklin County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for community projects funded from its community fund, according to Bob Powell, Grants Committee Chairman.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve Franklin County.&#160; Priority will be given to programs that target the needs brought on by the ongoing economic downturn. Grant money is available for non-profit, tax-exempt organizations addressing these needs in Franklin County.&#160;<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available at www.nccommunityfoundation.org (under &#8220;Affiliates&#8221; then &#8220;Franklin County.&#8221;&#160; The deadline for submitting applications is May 4.
