Support our network
Statewide funds provide grants and scholarships throughout North Carolina.
Want to start your own personalized charitable fund? Or donate to a cause you love? At NCCF, giving is flexible and rewarding.
Giving to a community or cause through NCCF is a smart way to make charitable gifts go further and achieve your goals.
There are two main ways to give at NCCF – starting a fund or donating to an existing fund. No matter which option you choose, we make it easy to donate to what you care about and make a lasting impact for North Carolinians.
Donating to an existing fund allows you to pool your gift with other donors to maximize impact. You can give online in minutes – and anonymously, if you like. You can support local community needs, help preserve our state’s beautiful wildlife, help families access food and housing, and much more.
Starting a fund gives you the most flexibility to support the communities, causes or nonprofits that are most important to you, and you can give anonymously if you choose. Our team works to help you decide what type of fund matches your vision and goals.
We offer convenient, streamlined options that can take just a few minutes to complete.
Give online by credit card
Note: Some Chase Bank-issued credit card holders may see their donation mislabeled as Autism Community Foundation in their statement. This issue is internal to Chase, and donors receive an email receipt from NCCF with the correct information about their donation.
Mail a check
Note: For honorary or memorial gifts, please include a note with your mail stating who should receive recognition of the gift and their address, if applicable.
Initiate an electronic transfer
Giving appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds often results in a full tax deduction and minimizes capital gains taxes.
You’ve saved for years, and now your retirement savings can become a powerful tool for giving. If you are age 70 and a half or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA to NCCF for the fund you would like to support.
Note: IRS rules do not permit QCDs to be transferred into a donor advised fund (DAF).
We know exactly how to manage a variety of assets, including non-cash assets like real estate, life insurance and privately-held stock. Because these transactions require prior approval, our team works closely with you or your advisor to ensure a seamless transfer.
