{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Community grants available from the Onslow Caring Communities Foundation","url":"\/news\/community-grants-available-from-the-onslow-caring-communities-foundation-2022","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The board of advisors of the <a href=\"\/communities\/southeastern\/onslow-county\">Onslow Caring Communities Foundation<\/a> is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Onslow County and will be awarded from the following funds:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Community grantmaking fund, supporting broad charitable purposes<\/li>\r\n<li>Onslow Youth Fund, supporting youth programs and activities<\/li>\r\n<li>Dallas Fred Allen Endowment Fund, supporting organizations with services and programs benefiting animals and their humane treatment and animal welfare within Onslow County.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Grants from the first two funds typically range from $750 - $3,000, while grants from the Dallas Fred Allen Endowment Fund typically range from $5,000 to $20,000.<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available beginning March 25. Visit <a href=\"\/\">nccommunityfoundation.org<\/a> for information about applying. The deadline for applications is April 26 at noon.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel, or for individuals.
