The Wake County Community Foundation board of advisors holds a retreat this week to focus on building teamwork, leadership development and endowment growth, according to Katie Crumpler, NCCF regional associate.
"This board consistently models best practices as it works to develop recources for its community grantmaking fund," Crumpler said.
The Wake board of advisors also will consider its future direction, with a particular examination on events going forward, Crumpler said. The annual Gather2Gether fundraising event held the past several years will not be held this fall, she said.
