Scholarships
Scholarship opportunities through the NCCF are rich and diverse. We do not have a general scholarship fund; rather, all scholarship awards are made by specific funds with criteria established by their particular donors.
The NCCF is privileged to award hundreds of scholarships each year, thanks to many generous donors across our state. We currently administer nearly 150 scholarship funds for individuals, families, school systems and organizations in our service area. In 2009, the NCCF awarded $425,000 in direct scholarships to students across the state and another $466,000 in grant money to educational institutions for the purpose of awarding scholarships to students attending these schools.
The NCCF scholarship application cycle begins each year in February. Deadlines vary from mid-February to early June.
Before applying for any NCCF scholarship, be certain you know how to apply. Then, select your home county to view opportunities and criteria for awards in your area. You may also wish to view other resources.
