Bio
Karen is the Grants Program Associate for NCCF’s Community Investment team. Prior to joining NCCF, she worked on grant initiatives for the North Carolina Arts Council and has over ten years of experience in nonprofit arts administration and community engagement. She has a Masters of Science in Arts Administration from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Karen is a visual artist based in Durham and when she’s not making art, she can usually be found trying to corral her dog, Toast, on walks.
