Moore Women -- a Giving Circle is pleased to announce its inaugural grant cycle, which will open Aug. 15 and close at noon Sept. 16. The Network will accept grant requests for community projects supporting the needs of women and/or children living in Moore County.
Network Co-chair Susie Buchanan said the group was excited about coming together to help make a difference in Moore County through the power of collective giving. She shared one of her favorite quotes from Maya Angelou: “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.”
Moore Women currently has 30 members and looks forward to growing its membership. Applications are available online only. Moore Women has created a gift fund and an endowment held with the Moore County Community Foundation and administered by the North Carolina Community Foundation.
