{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Community grants available from the Yadkin County Community Foundation","url":"\/news\/community-grants-available-from-the-yadkin-county-community-foundation-2","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The board of advisors of the Yadkin County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving needs in Yadkin County and will be awarded from the Yadkin County Community Fund and the Pauline \"Polly\" Hudspeth Wood &amp; Dr. William L. Wood, Sr. Endowment.<\/p>\r\n<p>Awarded proposals have historically averaged $1,500 although the board will review requests up to $5,000. Total grantmaking will not exceed $13,000.<\/p>\r\n<p>Applications are available online beginning March 13. <a href=\"\/communities\/northwestern\/yadkin-county\/applying-for-grants\">Visit&nbsp;this page for information about applying<\/a>. The deadline for applications is noon April 14.<\/p>\r\n<p>Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals.
