Deadline extended for NCCF development officer covering west, northwest regions

NCCF has extended the deadline for applicants interested in the position of development officer serving the northwest and western regions of North Carolina. The new closing date for applications is Aug. 23. The job description and major duties are outlined below.

SUMMARY

The Development Officer will secure new gifts to the NCCF throughout the NCCF-affiliated community foundations in the Northwestern and Western regions of the state.  This position will work under the direction of the Vice President for Development to identify and cultivate donors toward increased giving throughout the region.  The Regional Development Officer will identify and develop relationships with professional advisors individuals, businesses, other foundations and non-profit organizations with a goal of building and growing charitable assets, primarily endowment funds.  Residence within the region required, with strong preference for residence in the Hickory/Catawba Valley area.
