Jones County Community Foundation awards more than $3,000 in grants
The Jones County Community Foundation has awarded $3,740 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $1,000 to Atlantic Dance Theatre, Inc. for dance to build young lives in Jones County schools
- $740 to Prevent Blindness North Carolina for Star Pupils Jones County
- $1,000 to Trenton Methodist Church Food Pantry for
- $1,000 to Voices Together for VOICSS in Education – Jones County Schools
Funds for the grants came from JCCF’s community grantmaking fund.
“It’s a privilege to support these fine organizations,” said Joan Taylor, advisory board president of the Jones County Community Foundation. “They help strengthen our community in countless ways.”
JCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, JCCF uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.

Jones County Community Foundation Advisory Board Members
Advisory board members live and work in Jones County, positioning them to strategically leverage resources, meet local needs and access opportunities.
