Morrisville Community Fund awards $1,500 in grants
The Morrisville Community Fund has awarded $1,500 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $500 to the Diaper Train for general operating support
- $500 to Kiran, Inc., for the Kiran Community Engagement and Healing Project
- $500 to the North Carolina Symphony for music discovery for Morrisville Preschoolers
“Thank you to the generous individuals and organizations that have supported our mission and made these grants possible,” said Liz Johnson, advisory board president of the Morrisville Community Fund.
MCF is a fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, MCF uses dollars from its endowment to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community
