Graduating seniors or recent graduates of Pungo Christian Academy in Belhaven, NC and graduating seniors from any Beaufort County high school who have been admitted for enrollment and plan to attend an eligible educational institution in order to pursue a degree, certificate or training in a program that will prepare students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation. Individuals most likely to be selected to receive a scholarship are those who demonstrate the following characteristics: Good character, leadership, commitment to serving the community and a love for agriculture, wildlife and the outdoors. Preference may be given to students from Pungo Christian Academy and those students who are or have served as volunteer firefighters.
