Funds for the grants came from GCCF’s community grantmaking fund and the Clarence H. and Florence C. Moye Memorial Endowment.
“These organizations make our community a better place for everyone,” said Michael Rhodes, advisory board president of the Greene County Community Foundation. “We are honored to be able to support them and grateful to the dedicated supporters who make it possible.”
GCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, GCCF uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to nonprofits that help the local community.
