To support long-term recovery, address unmet needs and build community resilience and preparedness for future disasters in western NC, donate to the NCCF Disaster Relief Fund.

The Disaster Relief Fund provides grants to eligible organizations supporting long-term recovery in western North Carolina.

Hurricane Helene Support

Hurricane Helene caused unprecedented damage in western North Carolina. NCCF is providing support as the region continues on the long road to recovery.

With deep concern for our western NC communities, we moved quickly to activate our Disaster Relief Fund after the storm. We remain heartbroken about the loss of life and devastation due to the storm, but we have been uplifted by support for the fund.

Contributions to the fund total $33 million, and nearly $22 million has now been awarded to support Hurricane Helene recovery. Additional grantmaking will occur over the coming months and years.  Learn more about how the fund is supporting western North Carolina.
