Year-end Granting
NCCF experiences a high volume of grant requests at the end of the year. To ensure your support will be issued by Dec. 31, submit grant requests by Dec. 10 following the instructions below.

Year-end Giving
To ensure your charitable gifts qualify for tax deductions this year, please keep this important information in mind and consider these three tips for year-end charitable giving.

| Check | Make a check to the “North Carolina Community Foundation,” noting the intended fund, and mail to North Carolina Community Foundation, 3737 Glenwood Ave., Suite 460, Raleigh, NC 27612. | For USPS: Must be postmarked by Dec. 31 For carriers such as FedEx or UPS: Must be physically received at the NCCF office by Dec. 31 |

| Electronic transfer | Follow our routing instructions and notify a member of our Development team with the gift amount and which fund should receive it as soon as possible. | Submit by Dec. 31 |
| Stock | Initiate as soon as possible, following our stock transfer instructions, and notify a member of our Development team with transfer details as soon as possible. Mutual fund and stock gifts with special handling requirements can take longer to process. We recommend initiating those transfers early in December to avoid administrative delays. | On or before Dec. 20 to ensure receipt by Dec. 31 |
