The Women’s Fund of North Carolina is committed to supporting changing and diverse issues, needs and challenges facing women throughout North Carolina. Grants support nonprofit organizations and programs that serve women and girls in any county within the North Carolina Community Foundation network, with a preference for:
organizations led by women of color and/or women who identify as a member of a historically marginalized population; and
services that promote leadership development for women and girls
In addition to these criteria, organizations must meet all requirements outlined in the guidelines.
For 2024, $20,000 is available from the Women's Fund through an application cycle that opens on July 5, 2024, and closes at NOON on Aug. 6, 2024. Grants typically range from $1,500 to $5,000.
Grant decisions are made by a committee of representatives of NCCF’s giving circles, and applicants will be notified of the outcome within 90 days of the application deadline.
