Additional $15,000 in grants available for nonprofits from the Community Foundation for Randolph County

Charitable organizations focused on improving health in Randolph County have additional opportunities for grants this spring from the Community Foundation for Randolph County.

An additional $15,000 will be available through the new Randolph Health Community Foundation Endowment  for programs and organizations devoted to improving health and wellness in Randolph County.

The endowment fund was established last year   and is advised by CFRC, the local affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation that is advised by Randolph community members.

Grants from the new fund nearly triples the annual impact of CFRC. Another $8,800  will be available from CFRC to nonprofits serving a wide variety of community causes. Organizations must apply for CFRC grants using NCCF’s online application system. Applications open April 5 and close May 7 at noon.

“We know there is a need for greater investment in the health and wellbeing of our community and are excited to be able to provide more funding to organizations working to do just that,” said Jerry Moore, CFRC advisory board president.

For more information about applying for grants from CFRC visit our website or contact the central region program officer.
