Cary Community Foundation awards $10,000 in grants
The Cary Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $10,000 in grants to nine organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $750 to Cary Downtown Farmers Market for Cary Farmers Market
- $1,000 to The Caring Community Foundation for Alleviating Financial Insecurity Caused by Cancer
- $1,000 to The Center for Volunteer Caregiving for In-Home Connections Program
- $500 to The Diaper Train for Diaper Train Stability & Growth Initiative
- $2,000 to Esteamed Coffee, Inc., for General Operating Support
- $2,000 to HopeLine Inc., for Cary Connections
- $1,500 to Kiran, Inc., for Empowering Independent Futures
- $500 to Made4Me, Inc., for Making Abilities Possible
- $750 to Triangle Aphasia Project Unlimited for Accessible Aphasia Communication Rehabilitation
“We’re proud to support nonprofits and organizations providing important services in Cary,” said Prity Shah, advisory board president of the Cary Community Foundation. “These grants reflect our commitment to strengthening the community by investing in programs that promote health, inclusion, and opportunity for all who call Cary home.”
Funds for 2025 grants came from CCF’s community grantmaking fund. Each year, CCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.

Cary Community Foundation Advisory Board Members
Advisory board members are volunteers who live and work in Cary, positioning them to strategically leverage resources, meet local needs and access opportunities. In addition to Shah, board members include Dipak Prasad (vice president), Manoj Bhatia, Jessamine Buck, Catherine Pham, and Mike Stellpflug.
