Chairman’s Challenge ends Nov. 30; still time for your support!

The Chairman’s Challenge ends Nov. 30 – and there is still time for you to support your local and/or favorite affiliates!

For those of you who haven’t yet heard what this fundraising program is all about, here are its parameters, directions and benefits in a nutshell.

What is it?

How do I give?

You can give online here. Or those who prefer to write a check can send it to NCCF’s Chairman’s Challenge, 4601 Six Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh, NC 27609. Please note the affiliate/s you are supporting in the memo line.

Many residents in areas served by an NCCF affiliate foundation have received letters, e-blasts or emails about the campaign. Local news and social media may also carry information. Many have learned about the campaign at special events sponsored by local affiliates in your communities.

Why is this important?

NCCF affiliates’ grantmaking funds are important resources in local communities throughout the state because:

Beth Boney Jenkins, NCCF’s vice president for development, is encouraged by the Chairman’s Challenge progress at this point in the campaign. “We’re seeing gifts come in through many different channels this year, resulting from social media, special events and the dedicated, concerted efforts of our affiliate board members who are sending out personally signed letters and tapping their own social media channels and events to get out the word,” she said. “We look forward to another successful year for our affiliates, which translates to another boost for our local communities.”

Jenkins invites anyone with questions to contact their local regional associate or email her at bjenkins@nccommunityfoundation.org.
