Columbus CCF grant application deadline is May 7
The application deadline for the Columbus County Community Foundation’s 2013 grant cycle is Tuesday, May 7.
Grant Criteria
The Foundation accepts proposals in the areas of arts and humanities, education, the environment, health, human services, public and societal benefit, and youth development.
Grants are available for non-profit, tax-exempt organizations, faith-based organizations and government agencies, such as schools and libraries, with specific projects that benefit the residents of Columbus County.
Grants typically range from $200 to $1,000, and funds are not available for individuals, capital campaigns or capital improvements.

Since 2000, the Columbus County Community Foundation has awarded more than $72,000 in grants to local nonprofits. Foundation board members are Geoffrey R. Hopkins, President; Henry J. Edmund; Kathy Baker, Randy Britt; Dr. Jim Dimuzio, Becky High, Gary N. Kramer; Terray Suggs and Andy Wayne. The Columbus County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation, which provides support and management services to a number of local endowment funds.
