Community grants available from the Jackson County Community Foundation (July 2022)
The board of advisors of the Jackson County Community Foundation will be accepting grant applications from nonprofits serving needs in the local community.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Jackson County and will be awarded from the community grantmaking fund. Grants typically range between $1,500 and $3,000. Special consideration will be given to organizations that address family food insecurity, youth behavior and safety, and substance abuse issues in Jackson County.
Applications are available beginning Friday, July 8. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for applications is Tuesday, Aug. 9 at noon.
Grants are not available for regranting purposes, capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals. Funds are awarded by the board of advisors of the Jackson County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF).
