{"tinyMCE_dummy":"","title":"Currituck-Dare Women\u2019s Fund awards $6,500 in grants","url":"\/news\/currituck-dare-womens-fund-awards-6500-in-grants","meta":{"title":"","description":"","excludeFromSitemap":"No"},"ordinal":999,"content":"<p>The <a href=\"\/giving-circle\/currituck-dare-womens-fund\">Currituck-Dare Women&rsquo;s Fund<\/a> has awarded $6,500 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p>The board of advisors granted:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>$500 to the Albemarle Commission Senior Nutrition Program for 2023-24 Dare-Currituck Meals on Wheels<\/li>\r\n<li>$2,500 to Beloved Haven for Beloved Haven Outreach Program<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,500 to the Lower Currituck Food Pantry for Little Red Wagon<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to the North Carolina Coastal Federation for environmental education experience<\/li>\r\n<li>$1,000 to Outer Banks Dementia Friendly Coalition to increase respite care scholarships and expand Caregivers Day Out<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The Currituck-Dare Women&rsquo;s Fund is a giving circle of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by local volunteer co-chairs Di Small and Ginger Webster.
