Funds for the grants came from HCCF’s community grantmaking fund.
“We’re proud to make grants that help our neighbors and our community,” said Patricia Harmon-Lewis, advisory board president of the Harnett County Community Foundation. “These organizations are meeting critical needs, and we are proud to support them.”
HCCF is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation and is led by a local volunteer advisory board. Each year, HCCF uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to local nonprofit organizations. Since 1991, HCCF has provided nearly $100,000 in grants to Harnett County nonprofits.
