Hoke County Community Foundation awards nearly $20,000 in grants

The Hoke County Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $19,700 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.

The board of advisors granted:

“Community self-investment is key to local resilience,” said William Wright, advisory board president of the Hoke County Community Foundation. “We’re proud to support these organizations that invest in our community.”

Funds for 2024 grants came from HCCF’s community grantmaking fund and the Mary Archie McNeill Endowment Fund. Each year, HCCF’s local volunteer advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
