“These local nonprofits and community organizations are essential to a thriving Moore County,” said Victoria Adkins, advisory board president of the Moore County Community Foundation. “We are partnering to create permanent source of community support today, and for generations.”
Funds for 2026 grants came from MCCF’s community grantmaking fund and the John W. Roffe and Marjorie A. Roffe Endowment and Sarah McCain Currie Endowment. Each year, MCCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
