Criteria

Scholarships shall be awarded to graduating high school seniors of a high school in Watauga County, North Carolina, or who are Watauga County residents graduating from University of North Carolina School of the Arts, North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, or any other school for academically gifted students, and will attend a four-year college or university as a full-time student. Eligible students shall exhibit excellence in three areas: (1) academic excellence, (2) physical vigor and activity, and (3) leadership in school, church or community activities
