Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Scholarship

Criteria

Former firefighters who served with a New Hanover County Volunteer Fire Department or descendants of such firefighters who are interested in pursuing higher education at an accredited university, college, community college or technical institute. Special consideration will be given to applicants who were firefighters who served with the Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department of New Hanover County or descendants of such firefighters. Character, financial need, service to the community, and academic potential are among the factors that will be considered in selecting scholarship recipients.
