Community Foundation for Randolph County awards more than $31,000 in grants
The Community Foundation for Randolph County, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $31,179 in grants to 11 organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $3,500 to Communities in Schools of Randolph for STEAM 2.0 for schools
- $2,000 to Empowerbox for Punch Forward
- $3,000 to The Invictus Project for general operating support
- $4,179 to Keaton’s Place for Fit for Recovery
- $500 to Kora’s Rescue Ranch for reducing animal homelessness in Randolph County
- $2,000 to Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. for support for Randolph County residents in need of civil legal services
- $2,500 to Our Daily Bread Kitchen, Inc. for feeding the hungry
- $4,500 to Randolph Senior Adults Association, Inc. for RSAA meal programs
- $2,000 to SerCo Club of Archdale-Trinity for Cheerfund
- $5,000 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc. for No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town! NC – Randolph County 2025
- $2,000 to Town of Liberty, Liberty Public Library for sustaining summer literacy and food security
“We are honored to support local nonprofits and community organizations through our grants,” said Jerry Moore, advisory board president of the Community Foundation of Randolph County. “Permanent philanthropy is the cornerstone of strengthening our communities.”
Funds for 2025 grants came from CFRC’s community grantmaking fund and the Randolph Health Community Foundation Endowment. Each year, CFRC’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.

Advisory board members are volunteers who live and work in Randolph County, positioning them to strategically leverage resources, meet local needs and access opportunities.
