Lenoir County Community Foundation awards $11,820 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Lenoir County Community Foundation recently announced $11,820 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund, the Oakland Fund and the Warren and Barbara Perry Fund.

The board granted:

  • $1000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain for Formula for Impact Lenoir
  • $3165 to Change 4 La Grange for After School Program
  • $1222 to Hope Preparatory School for Remarkable Readers Enrichment Program
  • $3000 to Hope Restorations, Inc. for Rebuilding Lives, Rebuilding Kinston
  • $750 to Kinston-Lenoir County Friends of the Library for Coming Together: A Community Celebration
  • $1500 to Mercy Soup Kitchen
  • $500 to North Carolina Symphony for Adopt-a-School for Lenoir Students
  • $683 to R.A.D.D., Inc. for RADD Summer Camp
