“Supporting local nonprofits and community organizations through grants is a privilege,” said Victoria Adkins, advisory board president of the Moore County Community Foundation. “Permanent philanthropy is essential to the strength of our communities.”
Funds for 2025 grants came from MCCF’s community grantmaking fund, the Sarah McCain Currie Endowment Fund, and the John W. Roffe and Marjorie A. Roffe Endowment Fund. Each year, MCCF’s advisory board uses dollars from its endowment funds to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.
