North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship

Criteria

Provide support for residents of western North Carolina whose ability to pay for college or university was directly impacted by Hurricane Helene. This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors planning to attend two- or four-year colleges who are residents of one of the following severely impacted counties: Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Cleveland, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania, Watauga, Yancey. Preference for students from rural communities.
