For Recipients
Congratulations on receiving a scholarship through the North Carolina Community Foundation! We commend you for your outstanding achievements and your commitment to your education.
All scholarship funds will be sent directly to your college or university. Your school will split the payment equally between the fall and spring semesters.
Scholar Information Form
Once a scholarship is approved for award, NCCF sends an email to you, confirming your award and providing instructions on how to accept your award.
Scholarship recipients are required to complete a Scholar Information Form and submit it via their account on the NCCF Scholarships Portal before scholarship checks are issued. If you do not submit your online form by Aug. 31, 2024, your scholarship award may be delayed.
Upon submission of the Scholar Information Form, NCCF issues scholarship checks directly to colleges and universities. Awards will be paid in one check, but the college or university will split the amount equally between the fall and spring semesters. Review a sample of the Scholar Information Form.
The form includes a media release where you (or your guardian if you’re under 18) can provide permission for us to share information about you and your scholarship award publicly on our website, social media, digital newsletters and print publications. Please consider uploading a recent headshot photo for publicity use as well.
Visit our Scholar Spotlights to see examples of students we’ve featured in the past.
Thanking your donor
Each scholarship fund at NCCF was established by a donor or organization to benefit students like you, and they appreciate hearing how their generosity is making a difference.
We will share your name, hometown, schools and answers to questions on your Scholar Information Form with your scholarship donors.
If you would like to send an additional thank you letter or recent photograph to the donor, you may submit these items by emailing scholarships@nccommunityfoundation.org. Please use the subject “Scholar Thank You.”
