Lacy Chronister

Lacy Chronister is a graduate of Indian River High School and is a student at the College of the Albemarle.

Chronister elected to attend College of the Albemarle because their program offered the highest number of prerequisite courses she needed before beginning the master’s program for occupational therapy. “I want to enter the workforce as an occupational therapist and aim to work for the Wounded Warriors Project and assist healing injured veterans,” said Chronister.

Chronister is a recipient of the Virginia Dare BPW Scholarship.

“I am so grateful to receive this scholarship,” said Chronister. “I think the best way to express that gratitude is to go forward, succeed and give back to my community after graduation.”
