The Women for Women of Pitt County Endowment has awarded $108,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations:

  • $12,500 to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain for SMART Girls
  • $10,000 to CareNet Counseling East for Right-ing One’s Narrative: Gaining Understanding, Skills, and Vision for a Better Life 2.0
  • $9,500 to Daughters of Worth for emergency services support for at-risk youth and women
  • $5,000 to Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines for Girl Scout Leadership Experience
  • $8,000 to Hope of Glory Ministries for Community Co-op Program
  • $7,625 to House of HUGS for Women and Children for HUGS Life Enrichment Program
  • $15,000 to Koinonia Community Solutions for Strong, Healthy, Resilient Girls of Pitt County (StrongHER Pitt)
  • $9,500 to NC Stop Human Trafficking to meet basic needs of human trafficking victims
