10th Anniversary Event for NACF

NACF board members, donors, grantees and friends gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the Northern Albemarle Community Foundation at a luncheon event at Montero’s in Elizabeth City. The NACF Affiliate was established in 2001 through efforts of Ron Turlington, then FCB Area Vice President and Winnie Wood, a dynamic community leader well recognized for her civic engagement and commitment to this region.  The network of community leaders grew to include representatives from the four counties served, Camden, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans.  Highlights of the past decade were shared through stories and images. Directors completing two terms and now stepping down were Marilyn Madrin and Raymond D. Meiggs. Madrin has served as President for the past two years and Meiggs has served as Vice President for the past 3 years. Both have been instrumental in establishing endowed funds and supporting the programs and services to area nonprofit organizations and donors.
