2014 New Hanover CCF grant cycle begins
The New Hanover County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2014 grant application cycle, and the application deadline is Tuesday, April 29.
Grant Criteria
Proposals are sought from New Hanover County nonprofit organizations in support of broad charitable purposes in the areas of arts and humanities, education, the environment, health, human services, public and societal benefit and youth development. Funds are also available for programs that promote improved race relations in New Hanover County.
Strong consideration will be given to projects that build charitable capacity for the non-profit through such efforts as board training, staff development, strategic planning, and efforts that promote sustainable funding for the organization. Collaborative efforts are strongly encouraged.
Grants are not available for capital campaigns, capital improvements, out-of-state travel or for individuals.

The New Hanover County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation, and it provides endowment services to more than 86 funds.
