A great time had by all at 2012 country fling | North Carolina Community Foundation

The Hoke County Community Foundation hosted a June Garden Dinner and grants award ceremony on June 2 at the Williamson Farm. There were many friends of the Hoke County Community Foundation and board members along with this year’s grant recipients in attendance.

The Hoke County 4-H Summer Enrichment Program
N.C. Turkey Festival Inc., for arts and cultural activities

Jordan thanked the community for their support and the Hoke County Community Foundation board members. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” he said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported Hoke County’s community fund.” Jordan also thanked Wanda Cohen, board member, and her family for hosting the evening’s dinner and activities, including local vocalist Gina Dodd accompanied by her son Gentry Dodd on the guitar and a local dance troupe.
