ACCF Awards $2,460 in local grants | North Carolina Community Foundation

The Ashe County Community Foundation recently announces 2014 grant recipients from the Daniel Lee “Dan” Eldreth Memorial Endowment. The Eldreth Memorial Endowment was established to honor the memory and legacy of service to the community of Dan Eldreth. Requests emphasizing education are given special consideration. In 2014, ACCF awarded three grants totalling $2,400 from the Eldreth Memorial Endowment. This year’s recipients were:

Ashe County Arts Council: $1,200 for the Stop the Bullying project
Ashe County Public Library: $600 for Ashe County “Twig” Support
Imagination Ashe: $660 for Dolly Books for Creston 28615
