Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation awards nearly $4,000 in grants
The Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation, a North Carolina Community Foundation affiliate, has awarded $3,919.98 in grants to organizations supporting the local community.
The board of advisors granted:
- $1,306.66 to Albemarle Commission Senior Nutrition Program for Hyde County Meals on Wheels 2024-25
- $1,306.66 to Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas for Beaufort-Hyde Childhood Cancer Safety Net
- $1,306.66 to Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry for Feeding the Children
“There are many nonprofits and organizations doing critical work to improve lives in Beaufort and Hyde counties,” said Michael Adams, advisory board president of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation. “We were glad to be able to support some of those organizations through these grants.”
Funds for 2024 grants came from BHCF’s community grantmaking fund. Each year, BHCF’s local volunteer advisory board uses dollars from its endowment fund to make grants to eligible local organizations, including nonprofits, local governments, schools and churches.

Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation Advisory Board Members
