Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation visits grant sites (June 2016)
Several members of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation board of advisors recently conducted site visits at two of their local community grantees, according to Beth Wilder, board president.
Board members first visited the Boys & Girls Club, presenting a grant to the Washington and Belhaven Clubs. They next visited Pamlico Shores in Belhaven and presented the Food Bank of the Albemarle with a grant for food sourcing in Hyde and Beaufort counties.
Wilder thanked the community for its support of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation. “These grants are important to our community and our quality of life,” she said. “Critical programs would not be possible without the generosity of many individuals and organizations that have supported the Beaufort-Hyde Community Fund.”
