Bertie-Hertford Community Foundation announces new board president and vice president

The board of advisors of the Bertie-Hertford Community Foundation announces a new advisory board president and vice president.

John TayloeJohn Tayloe was named board president. He is the Vice President for Development and a graduate of Chowan University. He is a deacon at Connaritsa Baptist Church, member of the Rotary Club and previously served on the boards of directors of the Hertford County Economic Development Commission and Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center.

 

Penny RosePenny Rose was named board vice president. She is a native of Elkin and graduate of Guilford College. She has three adult children, seven grandchildren and is an active community volunteer who enjoys creative pursuits and opportunities to improve the quality of life for eastern North Carolina.


“We are very excited to serve the Bertie-Hertford Community Foundation board of advisors,” Tayloe said. “We look forward to working with the board to benefit our local community.”
